The second rendition of William Rose Pinot Gris is finally here!


WINEMAKINGHandpicked in the cool of the morning the fruit was whole cluster pressed to minimize phenolic extraction. Following settling the juice was split between seasoned (neutral) oak barrels (60%) and stainless steel (40%). Fermentation was initiated using an aromatic yeast strain and a cool 12 day fermentation was progressed to sugar “dryness”. Post fermentation, the two lots were blended and kept on the yeast lees for approximately six weeks prior to racking and preparation for bottling.


TASTING NOTES With bright notes of citrius, green apple and hints of ripe stone fruit this CLASSIC OREGON GRIS is bone and beautifully full with vibrant acidity that dances playfully on the tongue. This wine pairs well with seared sea scallops, braised chicken, grilled asparagus, and picnis in the park.
